June 2009-March 2010. ACT-Southern Africa started a project in which it is collecting and analysing anti-corruption laws and policies of 15 SADC member states: Angola, Botswana, Democratic Republic of Congo, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Seychelles, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
It is expected that the analytical reports and a compendium of anti-corruption laws and policies that will be published will be used by governments, academia, students, anti-corruption activists and researchers among others. ACT-Southern Africa values this project since it will facilitate learning and exchange of goof practices. The researchers for the project were mobilised through the United Nations Volunteers (UNV) Programme's online volunteering programme (www.onlinevolunteering.org).Each of the SADC member states has at least two (2) researchers.
